21 January 2012: Brand New Wave Swinger Ride From S&D Leisure Currently Under Construction In Italy
We are pleased to announce yet another new and exciting ride from S&D Leisure for 2012! The Wave Swinger is currently under construction in Bergantino, Italy by manufacturers Lamborghini Rides and is due for delivery to the UK in the early part of this year. The wave swinger is a beautiful family ride, based on the traditional Chair-o-Plane attraction but with a tilting top for added dynamics and featuring all modern operating and safety systems.
You will be able to see the Wave swinger operating at Pier Approach in Bournemouth for most of the year.

01 November 2011: New Adrenaline Ride For 2012 - A UK Exclusive!
Our most exciting news is currently that we have a brand new adrenaline ride due for delivery in early 2012! It will be a 360 degree looping inversion-style ride which also features 360 degree rotating gondolas and looping passenger seats! It really is an experience not to be missed.
The ride (name and artist’s impression to be released soon) will be a UK exclusive for S&D Leisure Rides and is already talking up a storm within the Amusements Industry. It’s generic name is “Loop Fighter” and it is produced by World renowned ride manufacturers Technical Park in Italy.

The latest addition to our exciting selection of rides and event accessories is the Mobile Bar.
This brand new unit is fully self contained and fully equipped to meet the needs of those either looking for something suitable for a private function such as a wedding or celebration or for a public event with hundreds of guests to be served. It can even be themed to meet your specific requirements!

30 June 2011: We’re At The Top Music Festivals This Summer
What a line-up of events we have for Summer 2011! Festival season has officially begun and you may have already seen us rocking out with the Reverse Bungee at Dowload recently in Donington Park!
We are currently setting up at The Guernsey Festival of Performing Arts (Sat 2nd - Sun 3rd July) - in its first year, it is set to be a fantastic event with a variety of entertainment and top music on offer from headliners such as Primal Scream, Example, Chipmunk and many more. We’ll be providing the Reverse Bungee!
From Guernsey, we will be making the very long journey up to Balado in Scotland for T In The Park! Always a mecca for festival goers, we can’t wait to entertain the crowds when they want a break from the mosh pit! (Fri 8th - Sun 10th July)
From Friday 22nd - Saturday 23rd July we will be at Wickerman Festival in Kirkcudbright, Scotland for an alternative take on the festival scene. With music, arts & crafts, food, drinks, funfair and the iconic “burning of the Wickerman”, it’s a great atmosphere enjoyed by a friendly crowd.
S&D Leisure Rides will be organising the funfair again at this year’s Relentless Boardmasters down at Fistral Bay in the sunny seaside resort of Newquay. This year the festival will be headlined by Fatboy Slim, Klaxons, Bombay Bicycle Club, Leathal Bizzle, Eliza Doolittle and more. The funfair rides will include Reverse Bungee, XLR8 Booster, Xtreme, High Roller, Hollywood Waltzer and games!
One of our favourite Music Festivals on the calendar is V Festival! This year to be held Fri 19th - Sun 21st August with headliners such as Eminem, Rihanna, Pendulum, Primal Scream, Arctic Monkeys, Jessie J to name literally just a few. The music is awesome, the rides are spectacular and the atmosphere is unbelievable. We can’t wait!
This year’s Creamfields from Friday 26th - Sunday 28th August will play host to such world class DJ’s as The Chemical Brothers, Tiesto, Calvin harris, Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules and many many more big names. We’ll also be there, catapulting brade riders 182 feet up into the air!

18 June 2011: We’ve Gone Hoppings Mad!
It’s finally here! The Hoppings - the UK’s largest travelling funfair at Newcastle-upon-Tyne’s Town Moor.
This year the Hoppings is bigger and better than ever with amazing new rides and attractions to put a smile on every face. Whether you’re into high adrenaline thrill rides or something more traditional, there’s something for both the young and the young at heart. Don’t forget the selection of traditional and not-so-tradition funfair foods and treats on offer!

You can currently see us operating down at Pier Approach in the beautiful seaside town of Bournemouth. Be brave and catapult into the air on the Reverse Bungee and enjoy fantastic views of the coastline, take a ride on the traditional Golden Galloping Horse Carousel and Wave Swinger or even the Bungee Trampolines! There really is something for all ages.
There are plenty of other sights and activities too, from the beach and gardens to the shops and restaurants. Make Bournemouth your Easter Holiday destination!
26 Feb 2011: We’re “Xscaping” to Milton Keynes...
S&D Leisure Rides are getting ready to head down to Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire where we will be operating our Reverse Bungee attraction at one of the UK’s premier entertainment complexes, Xscape.
If you’re looking for a great day or night out, then there really is nowhere better! With restaurants, bars, cinema, ski slope (with real snow!), rock climbing, indoor sky diving, shopping and of course - the Reverse Bungee!!! There is something to keep everyone well and truly entertained!
The Reverse Bungee will be operating Thursday - Sunday during the weeks of early spring, starting from 3rd March. Our operating hours are: Thursdays 6pm - 3am, Fridays 6pm, - 3am, Saturdays 1pm - 3am, Sundays 1pm - 10pm.

23 Feb 2011: We’re loving The Great Leeds Valentine’s Fair!
It’s that time of year again and S&D Leisure Rides are proud to be appearing at The Great Leeds Valentine’s Fair.
The event takes place at Leeds United stadium (Elland Road) between Thursday 17th and Sunday 27th February 2011. The fair is open from 1.00pm until 10.30pm daily with the exception of 17th, 19th and 22nd February due to football fixtures.
As always there is something to suit everyone... Extreme thrill rides, children’s rides, family rides, games and a variety of foods and beverages.
